I forgot about the fountain show! After checking in last night, we went for a walk and heard Celine Dion blasting across the oak. There was a fountain show with lights and jets and music. It was Disney World of Color meets the Bellagio. A very pretty ending to the night.
We started out at a tea factory. Learned a bit about the preparation. Then we hiked around in the terraced fields for a while.
After, we had a long drive into Shanghai. We stopped at the Bund and walked for a bit to have dinner. Scott bravely ate the baby octopus.
Then, we had a cruise down the river by neon light. The Bund is lit like the Vegas Strip after dark. It was beautiful! The ultra modern across the river from the old colonial buildings.
The light show was phenomenal. They even gave us ice cream. It was quite the romantic evening.
Finally, we checked in at our last hotel in China. Sweet Dreams!
